Kevin R. Bates DC, FIAMA, Dipl.Med.Ac. Dr. Bates is a graduate of The National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois, formerly known as The National College of Chiropractic, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology degrees. Prior to attending National College of Chiropractic, Dr. Bates studied Physical Education and received his Bachelor’s degree at Brock University in Ontario, Canada.
After a visit to Denver in November of 2001, he decided to make it his home. He chose the area for it’s obvious natural beauty, the healthy community environment and numerous outdoor recreational opportunities. He soon became a member of the Lifetime Health and Wellness chiropractic team. Dr. Bates continually keeps on top of the latest in technology and techniques. He has continued his education with a Certification in Custom Foot Orthotics, and he has received a Fellowship and a Diplomate from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Bates is a member of The American Chiropractic Association and The Colorado Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Bates is trained in a variety of treatment methods, with a particular emphasis on sports injuries and nutrition. He and his colleagues take pride in tailoring their adjusting techniques to their patients’ needs. His extensive athletic background, including mountain biking, ice hockey, snowboarding, downhill skiing and golf have given him first-hand experience with the majority of the sports injuries that he treats.
When Dr. Bates is not in the office, he enjoys numerous activities including snowboarding, mountain biking, ice hockey, hiking and camping, which he shares with family, friends and his dog Bella.
