Dan Reyes, D.C., CCSP, DACRB, CIRS, NASM, FMS 1, 2
Dr. Dan Reyes was born and raised in southern California in the 1960's and graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in March of 1987. While attending college, he worked with the Los Angeles Pop Warner League and their Semi Pro Football League as the President of the Sports Injury Council. In addition, he was also the starting quarterback for the Bellflower Bears (the LA Rams Semi Pro Team) earning him All Star status and a State Championship in the Southern Semi Pro Division. He began his professional career as a Rehab Department head in Milwaukie, Oregon and practiced OB/GYN. While there, he started his sports, rehab, and continuing education. With over 32 years of experience, Dr. Dan is excited to start working with people here in Colorado as he starts the next stage of his journey.
He is a Certified Sports and Rehab Physician and is well versed in all types of sports injuries and is able to evaluate and treat those injuries. His experience allows him to be classified as a Continuing Education Provider (Broker) to both the Chiropractic and Massage Therapy fields throughout the US and Canada. Additionally, he has been a sports team doctor and trainer for the Lehigh Valley Outlaws (a professional indoor football team) and the Lehigh Valley Steelers (a minor league football team) in Pennsylvania.
Along with being a multidisciplinary practitioner, Dr. Dan is also the innovator of the 123REHAB Active Model Management System and the "I Will Be Strong" movement. His strength is his conviction in his philosophy to invigorate the "Innate." He believes that it is his responsibility to to cater treatment to stimulate the innate with each patient in order to decrease or halt the "dis-ease" process. Dr. Dan is skilled in chiropractic and practices the Diversified Technique targeting cause and effect relationships to help invigorate the innate and correct the dreaded "Subluxation Complex" and the "Natural Degenerative Process" to strengthen the spine and decrease or eliminate the pain process.
As an expert in wellness, sports/auto/work injuries, speed/strength/agility training, and the natural degenerative process he is well sought after for his ability to treat using all 5 Factors of Healing: "Passive"- Therapies, Flexibility/PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), Manipulation, Soft Tissue Manipulation, and Bracing. "Active"- Rehab, Testing, Fitness, Functional Restoration, and Nutrition.
